Package: libpam0g Version: 0.72-12 Severity: wishlist Recently I have started seeing a warning on my console window every 20 minutes when /var/spool/cron/crontabs/mail runs. The warning is: PAM_unix[4627]: (cron) session opened for user mail by (uid=0) The cron maintainer is of the opinion that cron is doing nothing out of the ordinary, so I don't think this message should be a "warning". Maybe a "notice". I could tell syslog not to show cron warnings, but then I might miss an event that I really ought to be warned about, so I'd rather not do that. -- System Information Debian Release: woody Kernel Version: Linux arwen 2.2.14 #4 Sat Feb 5 22:59:30 PST 2000 i686 unknown Versions of the packages libpam0g depends on: ii libc6 2.1.96-1 GNU C Library: Shared libraries and Timezone ii libpam-runtime 0.72-12 Runtime support for the PAM library
