Bug#409288: nscd: does not start because of missing libssp.so.0

Package: nscd
Version: 2.5-0exp3
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable

Hi,

here is the problem:

# /etc/init.d/nscd start
Starting Name Service Cache Daemon: nscd/usr/sbin/nscd: error while loading shared libraries: libssp.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
 (failed).

Experimental versions of gcc no longer provide the libspp shared
library. Here are the gcc versions that are installed on this system:

ii gcc-4.1-base 4.1.1-30 The GNU Compiler Collection (base package)
ii gcc-4.2-base 4.2-20070105-1 The GNU Compiler Collection (base package)
