Bug#439720: libc6: iconv -o clobbers input file, unlike sort -o
Package: libc6
Version: 2.6.1-1+b1
Severity: normal
The whole point of the -o option, it seems to me, is to allow
iconv foo -o foo
to work correctly, the way it does for sort(1).
Otherwise,
iconv foo > bar
would be sufficient.
