On a busy NFS server, rpc.mountd starts to slowly eat a _lot_ of memory. I usually restart
it when the amount of memory reaches 1.6Gb (which is approx. 10% of the system memory).
This is after approx. 2 weeks of uptime.

This bug looks a lot like the bug described here:
http://thread.gmane.org/gmane.linux.nfs/13479/focus=13480

When I look at the /proc/<pid of rpc.mountd>/smaps, the memory is allocated to [heap]:

possible to backport the fix to stable and ask for it's inclusion in a stable point release?
