reopen 369402 thanks There is quite a lot software out there today which uses inotify. Each of this package has to be updated to ship a private copy of the inotify syscall. Using linux/inotify.h is not a good option. Please consider to patch/backport sys/inotify from current upstream glibc.h, so this software can be compiled unaltered.
