I am also tagging this bug "help" as I am waiting a patch from the m68k porters to support thread local storage, as already asked on the debian-m68k mailing list.
As far as I know, only two places in glibc 2.5 require __thread: inet/inet_ntoa.c and malloc/memusage.cThe "fix" for first one could be based on http://sourceware.org/ml/libc-alpha/2006-10/msg00070.html
the "fix" for second one is already in debian package as any/local-__thread.diff. So it still might be possible to build glibc 2.5 even without thread local storage support on m68k. May be job for aranym to test this idea? Petr
