Package: libc6
Version: 2.3.5-6
Severity: important

This has to be the weirdest bug I've seen.

Earlier I had a strange exit of FVWM, at the time I had been messing with
the window for k3b, then I see the kdm greeting screen. Conclusion,
something crashed.

After two more unplanned exits, I did some investigating.

Results:

When trying to resize a KDE program's window in FVWM if I have xmms or
plaympeg running, there's a (good) chance that FVWM will make a forced exit.

KDE itself doesn't seem affected by this. Nor did any of the other WMs I
tested.

The programs I've seen it exit with:
  Konqueror,
  Kmail,
  k3b,

I would call it grave, but an earlier version does not have this bug.

I suppose it could be a bug in one of the main KDE system files, or in some
dependancy of xmms' or plaympeg's.

We didn't receive any more information, so as I doubt the libc6 is
involved in this bug, I am closing it. Please feel free to reopen it.
