Ok, I'm reassigning to libc6 as Athlon are supposed to be supported
with libc6-i686, from its description: "This includes Pentium Pro,
Pentium II/III/IV, Celeron CPU's and similar class CPU's (including
clones such as AMD Athlon/Opteron, VIA C3 Nehemiah, but not VIA C3
 Ezla).".

I suppose that this issue would forbid using the experimental glibc for
a stable release, so I'm bumping the severity to serious and leaving
you in the hands of the glibc maintainers.

   Bye,
