RE: timezone variable not set correctly, bug blocking LSB Conformance

I have been attempting to send an email to debian-glibc about Daylight
Saving Time Extended and can not seem to be able to originate an thread on
the list. I can however reply to an existing thread. (very strange)

With that said will someone please do me a favor and start a new thread for
me so I can reply with my orig question.

Subj: Daylight Saving Time Extended

thanks

Could you please test with LSB runtime version 2.0, ie the version
targeted for Sarge? If the test succeed with version 2.0, the problem
won't be fixed in Sarge.

The problem is fixed on Etch, which aims LSB 3.0 or 3.1 compliance.

Bye,
Aurelien
