i get an assetion failed.

If i downgrade the libc6 to the stable version 2.3.2.ds1-22 it does not happen anymore.
I am using Debian GNU/Linux 3.1 upgraded to Testing, kernel 2.6.11-1-686 and libc6 2.3.5-6.
