hi, sorry to bother again.
setting environment variables in "/etc/profile" and in
"/etc/environment" does help, but does not resolve everything. people
still cannot login using kdm/xdm/gdm.

maybe someone who is good at the bts can divert my information to this
bug:  #302296 ?
