Bug#326508: mplayerplug-in crashes because of libc6 on Sarge

On Debian Sarge mplayerplug-in (package mozilla-mplayer) causes a lot of crashes.
In bug #275240 it's said that the problem has been fixed with glibc2.3.5-3.
But of course this fix can't be used in Sarge.
It's possible to fix the bug also in the stable branch?
