Package: libc6
Version: 2.2.5-4
Severity: normal

The time zone information for Mexico does not contain the latest Daylight Saving
time rules. After making an exception in 2001, Mexico decided to apply the
rules corresponding to the US/Central zone in 2002 to the majority of the
country. This means that currently (in April 2002), all times for machines
located in Mexico/General (and probably in Americas/Mexico_City) get shown one
hour of the correct time.

These bugs are tagged as woody, because they're well-known problems
and for keeping open to come to light what the problem is. However,
as you know, sarge was released. Our stable version was moved from
woody to sarge. It's high time to close old woody's bugs that are
still open. Now I close these bugs. If you have any objections to
close them, please reopen and let us know your trouble.

Regards,
