I suggest the following text:

-------------------------

Name Service Switch update

services and running programs that are using NSS need to be restarted -
otherwise they might not be able to do lookups any more. The installation
process is able to restart some services, such as ssh or telnetd, but
other programs can not be restarted automatically.

One such program that needs manual stoping and restart after the libc6
upgrade manually is is xdm - doing this automatically might disconnect
active X11 sessions.

You will need to stop all such services and programs now and manually
start them after libc6 is updated.

Known programs and services that need to be stoped *before* the libc6
ugrade are:

    xdm kdm gdm postgresql xscreensaver

This scripts has detected the following service which you are required
to stop now:

    postgres

If you want to interrupt the upgrade now and continue later the please
answer "No" to the question below.

Do you want to upgrade libc6 now? [Y/n] N

Stopped glibc upgrade. Please restart the upgrade after you have
checked or stoped the programs or services by hand.
