Bug#274756: libc6: abort() breaks gdb backtraces with 2.6 kernel

Package: libc6
Version: 2.3.2.ds1-16
Severity: important

Problem description:

http://sources.redhat.com/ml/gdb/2004-09/msg00162.html

and this didn't work:

I think this is pretty important problem to any developers (especially when
receiving bugreports!). One of the major reasons why I last time went back
to 2.4 kernel. LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/lib/debug helps, but it's annoying to
use.
