No, the getdents-fix patch posted in the bug fixes integer overflow that
glibc maintainers refuse to handle.

Last time I tried to apply it to the Debian glibc package, I wasn't able
to rebuild glibc because nptl was getting in the way.  I gave up and
used the kernel patch with a 2.4.25 kernel.  That worked.

After I got this message from you I built a stock 2.4.27-rc3 kernel.
I'm having the same readdir troubles as I was before.
