Bug#198099: locale-gen with exec-shield kernel patch

Hi

I have the same problem with localedef segfaulting, except that I'm
not using grsecurity but the exec-shield kernel patch with a 2.4.24 
kernel. Thus pax won't help me. I solved the problem temporarily by 
doing

echo 0 > /proc/sys/kernel/exec-shield

as root, running locale-gen, and finally re-enabling exec-shield by
typing

echo 2 > /proc/sys/kernel/exec-shield

Just mailing this in the hope it would be useful to someone else
who bumps into the same problem.
