Two packages that are useful to have installed:
reportbug
devscripts
The first package 'reportbug' will guide you through submitting
bugreports.
The second package has a command 'bts' that makes it easy to adjust
severity, merge bugs, etc.

Largely because we've been doing other things. However, if you look at
177940, you'll see that I asked Paul Eggert to arrange to have all of
his mktime patches go into CVS. He submitted them for inclusion in the
last day. Once they're in upstream CVS it's much less work for us to
integrate. I think you can expect to see the various mktime bugs closed
shortly.
