The problem is still present on SID with the last libc6 2.3.2.ds1-10.

I previously posted a report on this. Could you please merge both bug
reports.

Where is the problem to have this corrected?

Paul Eggert <eggert@CS.UCLA.EDU> repported the bug on June with a patch and
nothing have be done yet.
