It has always happened on my machine for months (though my chroot dpkg
database got trashed a week ago by a crash during an upgrade...), and is
intermittent on the buildd. 0.6.2-1 built fine, 0.6.9-1 failed with
exactly the same dpkg-shlibdeps error as was produced by this ldd
problem, so I don't think it's unique to my machine. (I built and
uploaded manually, with dh_shlibdeps commented out, in order to get it
in. :-)
Can you try to build illuminator, and see if the problem occurs?
