Mmm, the archive got re-opened yesterday, and i was expecting a new
linux-kernel-headers package in todays upgrade, but didn't see one.
Maybe my bad english made me misinterpret what you said to me here.

That said, i have investigated on the lkml, and the proposed patch
is the correct way of solving this (altough the kernel guys don't really
care about userland use of the headers, and will most assuredly not fix
this before 2.6 is released.
