Could you more descriptions for the below entry?

I'm sorry I don't know the current problem well, but I concern this
patch causes the release related problem: you said this patch needed
for mips at least 2.4.22 kernel.  Is it ok?  If so, sarge mips kernel
is already 2.4.22 ?  (AFAIK d-i kernel is 2.4.22, though)

And if it needs 2.4.22, we need some descriptions in libc6 preinst to
stop installing the debian-glibc 2.3.2-* if user runs 2.4.21 or below
kernel.  Could you tell me what description is ok?
