I do not have NPTL on my system, and never have. The reports mentioning a
starting date and a closing date are from a third party. Those dates may
help pinpoint the problem.

This bug, which you can easily reproduce yourself, has been verified across
at least five Debian sid installations, none of which have NPTL or other
weird patches.

Please give me some credit for basic intelligence.
