Bug#206784: locales: locale-gen doesn't actually seem to generate locales?

bash-2.05b$ ls -l /bin/sh
lrwxrwxrwx    1 root     root            4 Jun 26 12:11 /bin/sh -> bash

Hm, perhaps it has something to do with:

bash-2.05b$ printenv POSIXLY_CORRECT
1
