Bug#48976: nscd: should reset (host)-database on dialup
0dns-down and 0dns-up (both part of pppconfig) do 'nscd -i hosts'.
>From the nscd man page:
-i, --invalidate TABLE
Invalidate the specified TABLE, i. e. forget all data cached
therein. This should be used if the database storing this
information has been changed.
If this does not cause nscd to flush negative entries than IMHO either nscd
or its man page is buggy.
In any case, this should really be handled by an ip-{up|down} script added
by nscd.
