Package: mbstowcs

When I call the function mbstowcs(), if the second parameter is a string =
with a special latin character ('=D1', '=F1', '=E1'...) it returns -1.
I tried to change the LC_CTYPE environment variable to many values and =
the result is the same. If the string doesn't contain a special =
character, there is no problem, it returns > 0.

I call this function to know the length of the string, the first =
parameter is NULL and the last 0.

I also have tested it on other platforms such as WIN32, Solaris, =
Digital, HP and I never got the return -1.

I am working with Intel Debian 2.2r2.

Can anybody help me?

Thanks
