Bug#180916: libc6: l
Package: libc6
Version: 2.2.5-11.2
Severity: minor
The man page ldconfig(8) says of ldconfig
... It is normally run automatically at bootup, from /etc/rc, ...
However, as far as I can see ldconfig is _not_ run during a standard boot:
the command
grep ldconfig /etc/init.d/*
returns no results.
So the man page is misleading, and should be corrected (unless it is decided
that ldconfig actually should be run at boot, in which case a change somewhere
in the init.d scripts seems to be needed).
