Package: glibc Version: 2.3.1-3 Severity: wishlist Hi, we have decided not to introduce s390x as a seperate architecture. We would like to handle s390x on s390 as sparc64 on sparc. This means that we run 31 bit userland on a 64 bit kernel and add biarch support to the toolchain. This also means that bug report #166450 is superseded by this one. Attached is a patch to add lib64 support to the glibc, backported from CVS. I will send you the necessary packaging changes as soon as binutils and gcc have included biarch support. Thanks, Gerhard
