Bug#169470: acknowledged by developer (Re: Bug#169470: locales: It is imossible to install locales on sid (sparc sun4m))

To solve my problem I have downgraded.

apt-get install libc6=2.2.5-14.3 --reinstall

and then

apt-get install locales=2.2.5-14.3 --reinstall

But this is not satisfactory. I went to glibc-2.3.1-3 for some reasons.
Furthermore I live in France and for me locales are very useful.

To close this subject I would like to ask you if it would be a good idea
for me to open a bug for glibc-2.3.1-3 missing in unstable for sparc.

Thx in advance

Regards.
