Well, first of all, ignore all the stuff below, because this is the
"fixed" configuration that I have gotten to. Ben dropped db1
compatibility support in 2.2.5-13 (released to sid yesterday), and this
removes libdb.so.2, and this causes apache to choke on startup with the
error message:
Starting web server: apache/usr/sbin/apache: error while loading shared
libraries: libdb.so.2: cannot open shared object file: No such file or
directory
And ldd /usr/sbin/apache reveals that it is indeed missing:
libdb.so.2 => not found
But, when I step libc6 back to 2.2.5-10, everything is peachy. Now, I
don't know if this is a case of Ben not doing his homework (the
changelog states that the only issue he knew of was with the Coda
people), or if its with apache not stating its depends explicitly
enough, but I had a guess that it was more of the latter which is why I
am reporting the bug here.
