I didn't say "Known perfect", I said they work perfectly "well". So
"well" is the limiting term ;)

There's a newer binutils out. Test it. I'm reassigning to binutils for
now. If you find that the newer binutils fixes the problem, please close
the bug by emailing an explanation to 156157-done@bugs.debian.org.
