Bug#57813: Error during new installation of frozen

Package: libc6
Version: 2.1.3-2

Hi. I'm right in the middle of a new install of Debian 2.2 from the Frozen
directory onto one of my machines. I've gotten through all of the base
installation and setup and I'm in the middle of installing the packages.
When I got into dselect I didn't select any new packages, I just went with
all of the default selections for now. It started installing packages and
went on for a while until I got a message saying that the file
/etc/init.d/devpts.sh was already on the system and do I want to keep it or
install the new one that the package is trying to install. Since the default
is to keep the current one, that's what I did. Then it started to continue
and gave me the following message:

The default action is to keep your current version.
   *** devpts.sh (Y/I/N/O/D/Z) [default=N] ?
   Current default timezone: 'EST5EDT'.
Local time is now: Fri Feb 11 10:12:23 EST 2000.
Universal Time is now: Fri Feb 11 15:12:23 UTC 2000.
Run tzconfig' if you wish to change it.
/etc/init.d/devpts.sh: line 63: syntax error: unexpected end of file
   dpkg: error processing libc6 (--configure):
subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 2
   Errors were encountered while processing:
    libc6
   E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)
   Some errors occured...blah, blah, blah...
   Press enter to continue.

   Setting up libc6 (2.1.3-2)
   Current local time...blah blah blah
/etc/init.d/devpts.sh: line 63: syntax error: unexpected end of file
   dpkg: error processing libc6 (--configure):
subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 2
   Errors were encountered while processing:
    libc6

installation script returned error exit status 100.

So at this point I seem pretty screwed because it really isn't letting me
continue without libc6. I'll keep fiddling with it, but I might just have to
start all over again and try telling it to replace devpts.sh next time.

Thanks.
