Bug#69256: nscd: Running nscd interferes with resolv.conf search

nscd installed with a newly configured machine.  I'm not sure why.  We
use a search path in resolv.conf to resolve the many domains used
internally on our network.  I noticed that resolution through this
search list wasn't working.  I removed nscd and found that 
 

  ping host

began to resolve to the correct address, host.domain.com.
