After upgrading to glibc 2.1 I get the following errors on ldconfig:
ldconfig: warning: can't open /lib/libnss_nis.so.1 (No such file or directory), skipping
ldconfig: warning: can't open /lib/libnss_files.so.1 (No such file or directory), skipping
ldconfig: warning: can't open /lib/libnss_dns.so.1 (No such file or directory), skipping
ldconfig: warning: can't open /lib/libnss_db.so.1 (No such file or directory), skipping
ldconfig: warning: can't open /lib/libnss_compat.so.1 (No such file or directory), skipping
It appears that some sym-links from old versions aren't being removed.
