Well, this stuff was discussed on this very list, and tracked in the BTS.
We do have an internal list for discussions among the hurd hackers (which
is, indeed, primarily a forum to watch Thomas and I bicker and misremember
things we did together five years ago ;-). We might make those archives
available, but there is also some purely private stuff on that list.
We do endeavor to use the public lists (bug-hurd, debian-hurd) for anything
that seems particularly informative or of general interest. But I do see
the value in private lists (where we will post cryptic weirdness without
worrying about answering public questions about it) with
publically-accessible archives (where you can puzzle out the cryptic
weirdness on your own).
