Bug#44816: ldd generates strange output
Package: libc6
Version: 2.1.2-1
Severity: normal
File: /usr/bin/ldd
[...while executing "cd hello-1.3 && dpkg-buildpackage"...]
dpkg-shlibdeps hello
dpkg-shlibdeps: warning: unknown output from ldd on `hello': `6'
Sure enough, ldd reports:
zblaxell@lain:/tmp/hello/hello-1.3$ ldd hello
6
libc.so.6 => /lib/libc.so.6 (0x40007000)
/lib/ld-linux.so.2 => /lib/ld-linux.so.2 (0x80000000)
Note the first line of ldd, which seems to be "6". This "6" line does
not appear on slink systems, nor any other version of ldd I've ever seen.
