Package: libc6 Version: 2.1.1-0.1 Severity: wishlist mkstemp() only supports the XXXXXX template at the end of the filename - this is an annoying limitation when you want to make a temp file with a known extension securely with either the syscall or mktemp(1). I think mkstemp() should support putting the XXXXXX anywhere in the filename. -- Robert Woodcock - rcw@debian.org "I never knew manipulating the masses was so easy." -jt
