severity 34213 fixed thanks It seems that the location where debian-changelog-mode.el is installed is determined by automake at buildtime. This is evil, but I'll leave it for the maintainer to fix it (hint: kill automake). dpkg 1.4.1.1 does not have the problem, since it was build on a system that doesn't have xemacs installed (or emacs for that matter).
