libgeotiff 1.5
libgeotiff 1.5.0 & 1.5.1 have been releases a little while ago, and will
require a transition. This version requires PROJ >= 6.0.0.
Because the EPSG CSV files are no longer included, there is no need to
split the package into the -dfsg & -epsg source packages. From now on
there will only the the libgeotiff source package.
The major changes triggered by PROJ 6 will likely require use to do
three transitions at once: PROJ >= 6.0.0, libgeotiff >= 1.5.0 & gdal >=
2.5.0. Although I'd prefer to limit it to PROJ & libgeotiff.
The overview of the rebuilds only lists the rdeps for libgeotiff, and
does not take the proj & gdal dependencies into account for the
dependency levels.
gdal (2.4.0+dfsg-1) FTBFS because it needs changes for ODGI 4.0 & PROJ
6, but with those changes it built successfully.
librasterlite2 (1.1.0~beta0+really1.0.0~rc0+devel1-2) FTBFS because
libgeotiff-dev didn't pull in libproj-dev >= 6.0.0, this has been fixed
in libgeotiff (1.5.1-1~exp3).
magics++ (3.3.1-1), metview (5.3.0-2) & xastir (2.1.0-5) build
successfully after adding ACCEPT_USE_OF_DEPRECATED_PROJ_API_H to CFLAGS
& CXXFLAGS for PROJ 6.
grass (7.6.0-1) FTBFS because it requires nad2bin which was removed in
PROJ 6.0.0, this is fixed in grass (7.6.1-1~exp1).
