[DebianGIS] tilecache package for Etch

There is a Tilecache package in Lenny. I would like to use it in Etch. 
It is dependant on python (>= 2.1) on python-support (>= 0.7.1). We have 0.5.6 version of python-support in Etch.

Has anybody an experience what kind of problems  can I expect if I will lower python-support dependency version to 0.5.6 to make it installable in Etch ?
