[DebianGIS] geoserver

Hi all.
At the last (very successful, btw) grass&gfoss meeting in Perugia,
Italy, I was very impressed by the geoserver presentation. I think it
we'll be good to package it. Having talked to one of the main devel, I
have come out with the following:
- official JVM 1.6 is an absolute necessity
- tomcat deb is not suitable for running geoserver (the security
settings prevent it)
- jetty is a much more reasonable alternative
- JAI is very important for practical use
- the dev team has no budget for packaging, but they are willing to give
advice
How is the work on jDebianGIS going? Any hope for the near future?
Of course, we're here available for testing.
