About the known EPSG data license issue, I'm going to split those data in a non-free package for libgeotiff and the same for GDAL. Of course I will Suggest (maybe also Recommend is acceptable? I still need to check) the non-free package and document the issue in README.Debian. This is suboptimal for our users, but the only way to live with current (and probably future) EPSG license. -- Francesco P. Lovergine
