Hi, I finally have to admit that I don't have enough time to contribute in a meaningful way to debian packaging right now. I offer up maintenance of qgis to the debian-gis group. One thing to note is that 0.9 will use cmake as the build system. This works fairly nicely when I've compiled it from svn, so hopefully that will be a smooth transition packaging-wise. Thanks, Steve
