Jean-Denis,
I would suggest you work from the current tree. If you would like I
could tag this with a specific version - say 1.8.1 so you have a
"known snapshot".
I would add that you should take care about what tools are distributed.
Some of the testing tools (from the openev/tools directory) should likely
be ommited as they aren't very appropriate for end users.
