Bug#973785: gcc-10: Huge package sizes of gcc-10 and cpp-10 on amd64
Package: gcc-10
Version: 10.2.0-16
Severity: minor
Dear Maintainer,
I got today's upgrade to 10.2.0-16 for gcc-10 and cpp-10 in testing amd64 and I
noticed that the package sizes have increased by a lot! More specifically,
gcc-10 went from 15MB to 67 and cpp-10 from 7.5MB to 60! Their installed sizes
sum up to 600+MB now, making them the top 2 packages in dpigs!
Is that intentional, or is it some bug? Because I also have a i386 machine
running sid and those 2 remained roughly the same in package and istallation
size. I don't really mind the size, I just want to see if someone else has
noticed the same.
