Dear Maintainer,

The -mieee-fp flag is broken on i386:

 $ gcc -mieee-fp foo.c
 /usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lieee
 collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status

libieee used to be shipped with glibc, but was removed in version 2.27.

The same bug is present is gcc-8.

Thanks,
