Bug#955533: gcc-9: -fsanitize-coverage=trace-pc causes undefined reference to __sanitizer_cov_trace_pc
Package: gcc-9
Version: 9.3.0-8
Severity: minor
Dear Maintainer,
$ gcc-9 -fsanitize-coverage=trace-pc hello.c
/usr/bin/ld: /tmp/ccre6iuY.o: in function `main':
hello.c:(.text+0xa): undefined reference to `__sanitizer_cov_trace_pc'
/usr/bin/ld: hello.c:(.text+0x25): undefined reference to `__sanitizer_cov_trace_pc'
collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status
The same symptom is also observed in gcc-10 package.
Best regards, Ryutaroh Matsumoto
