gcc-7 backport for stretch

Hi,

We'd like to build recent Ceph releases for stretch but we've updated our
toolchain requirements to gcc 7. This hasn't been a problem for
RHEL/CentOS or Ubuntu since they provide updated gcc packages for their
stable releases (7.x and 16.04 respectively) but we didn't anticipate that
there wouldn't be a gcc-7 backport for stretch. (I checked
https://packages.debian.org/stretch-backports/devel/ and didn't see gcc
listed.)

Is this something that is planned, or likely/possible?

Thanks!
sage
