Bug#906669: cpp-6: Upgrading gcc-6 and vim-runtime gives unpacking error

Package: cpp-6
Version: 6.3.0-18+deb9u1
Severity: important
Tags: a11y

Dear Maintainer,

   * What led up to the situation?
I tried to upgrade the system

   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
     ineffective)?
I ran "apt update" and "apt upgrade"
   * What was the outcome of this action?
I got the following error messages:

Unpacking vim-runtime (2:8.1.0229-1) over (2:8.0.0197-4+deb9u1) ...
dpkg-deb (subprocess): decompressing archive member: lzma error: compressed data is corrupt

   An upgraded system
