We want to make sure that gcc-6 is built with --with-cpu=ultrasparc on
32-bit sparc-linux-gnu (which is currently only present in Debian
rebootstrap [1]). The question is whether my suggested patch to
do that is correct.
I think that always passing --with-cpu=ultrasparc on sparc (32-bit)
will always make sure the compiler is configured to generate v8+
in 32-bit and v9 code in 64-bit mode.
Is that correct?
